I coach people through the gap between where they are and where they know they can be. This isn't just a fitness program. It's building the version of yourself you've always known was possible.
"Forever grateful for the hard times I was blessed with." — Kyler Brooker
My senior year of high school, my parents got divorced. That was the hardest thing I've ever been through.
It messed me up more than it probably should have. My dad adopted me when I was little, and being his first son, I grew up watching him and my mom build this whole beautiful life together. They gave me five younger siblings. For a long time everything actually felt perfect.
I still remember them pulling me into their room, just me, to tell me they were splitting up. I kind of just brushed it off. I didn't really get what it meant back then. I had no clue it was gonna change everything.
That whole year I did whatever I could to not be home. I'd stay out with my friends just to keep my mind busy, and honestly we were doing nothing good. Stealing from stores, dine and dashing, dumb stuff I knew was wrong but it gave me a rush and that's how I coped. I probably should've gotten caught for half of it. I'm just thankful I got a second chance, because I haven't touched any of that in over two years now.
I got into UW for a doctor's degree, but I was commuting back and forth every day so I never really made friends there. It was just school, gym, home, study, over and over. That's when everything hit me at once. I was on my own. No money, nobody to lean on, no real direction. I switched from public health to business and still didn't feel right about any of it.
That's when the depression got bad. I wasn't working toward anything. I felt like I had no purpose and honestly no reason to be here. I was broke and had nothing to show for myself. I couldn't talk to my parents because of all the lawyer stuff, my siblings were too young to get it, the rest of my family was across the country, and I'd lost touch with everyone from high school. There were nights I genuinely didn't know if I wanted to keep going.
So I got on the floor and prayed. Like actually begged for help. He didn't fix anything for me, but I think that was the point. He gave me a chance to become better instead. And slowly I started realizing everything I was going through was building me into who I needed to be.
So I locked in. Started working full time, 260 hours in one month. Gym at 5am, work from 6 to 10 at night, every single day. It sucked. But I was grateful for it. Grateful I could even work, go to school, and train when there's people out there just trying to figure out their next meal.
By my second year I was sitting in class staring at chem and calc I knew I'd never use, and I just kept thinking, this isn't my dream. Why am I sitting here when I could be out there actually chasing it.
I've always loved the gym. I went every day. But more than that, I wanted to help people. So that winter I took the risk and dropped out of UW.
The night I made up my mind, I was sitting at a park at like midnight and some random guy I'd never met walked up and asked why I was out there. I told him I was thinking about dropping out to chase my dream. He looked at me and said, "I have no doubt in my mind that you can make this happen." I swear it felt like a movie scene, like it wasn't even real. The whole thing almost seemed fake. But that was my sign to go all in. I don't know who he was, but I believed him. And I never looked back.
That's what my friend Shawn told me my senior year of high school. I didn't believe him at first. He told me my whole life could change if I went all in on fitness and stopped playing it safe. If I took the real risk and chased this instead of staying in school.
At the time, I wanted comfortable. School was the safe option, even though it was never what I actually wanted. That's the trap though. The comfortable choice feels easy because there's no risk in it, so we keep picking it. And we stay exactly where we are.
Looking back now, I have everything I once wished for. And every bit of it exists for one reason. I finally took the risk.
My biggest regret is how long it took me. Two years passed between Shawn saying those words and me actually committing. Two years I'll never get back. I still think about all that wasted time, and where I could already be if I'd just started the day he first believed in me.
Imagine where you could be if you started right now.
You get one life. And the moment you start taking action is the moment it actually begins. I started living the day I understood that. I wasted enough of mine thinking I wasn't worth fighting for, and I'm done with that. If you're reading this, I hope you are too.
I've never had someone in my corner. Nobody showed me what was right and wrong. Nobody held me accountable. Nobody actually gave a fuck whether I made it or not. I had to figure everything out alone and it cost me time I'll never get back.
Shawn believing in me is what planted the seed. But belief on its own still left me guessing for two more years. The thing that would've saved me that time wasn't more motivation. It was having someone in it with me, showing me the steps instead of letting me figure them out the hard way.
That's exactly why I coach. I don't want you to waste years guessing. I don't want you to go through the same process as me and guess what works. I've already done that, so you don't have to.
When you work with me, you get everything I wish I had. A real plan, someone who's been through it, and a person who genuinely wants to see you win.
I'm not a licensed therapist or a doctor. I'm a 19-year-old who lived it. The rock bottom, the rebuilding, all of it. You can't learn that in a classroom. You can only earn it.
Most people aren't failing because they're lazy. They're failing because nobody ever gave them the right structure. My job is to be the person who finally does that for you and stays with you every step of the way until you get there.
Book Your Discovery Call"Instead of having to worry about each little nuance, I was able to have someone who knew what they were doing — an outside perspective I could go to and get on the right path." — Christian
"Before I started I was a relatively athletic person — a state swimmer with good lifting stats — but I loved food and would load up on high-cal, low-satiating snacks without tracking. Some days I'd eat 4,000–5,000 calories without even realizing it. The tracking step was huge. Instead of worrying about every little nuance, I had someone who knew what they were doing and an outside perspective to get me on the right path. One word for it: easy." — Christian
"Before we started working together, I was lost on where to even begin. I knew I wanted to lose weight and build confidence, but I didn't know exactly what to do. The moment we started, everything was laid out in front of me perfectly. You made sure I understood every part of it, and I started feeling like an overall better, happier person. I'm already feeling stronger and more confident. If someone's thinking about signing up, I'd tell them not to hesitate. If you need guidance in fitness and you want to make a change that makes you better, this program is the answer." — Keenan Book
